Bahia Mar was built in phases by H&L Construction Mozambique, between 2001 to present and consists of an up-market restaurant, conference facilities, a state of the art gym and luxury spa. Four luxury beach villas inset into the sandy slope, complete the picture of this beautiful property, and top Vilanculos boutique hotel. Certainly a jewel in H&L’s crown.

BAHIA MAR RETURNED TO H&L FOR EACH NEW ADDITION OVER THE LAST 20+ YEARS.

The project is an example of using cutting edge architecture to highlight specialized and locally inspired design details to create a unique environment in an exceptional setting. The Bahia Mar Beach House was originally built as a private house, and then incorporated into the hotel. In 2019, Hooper & Louw completed the additions of the Spa and Garden Suites.
